MoonLight Pillows
Made by Women for Women
Project
Regina:
Project Regina began in
Minneapolis, Minnesota
in 1976 as a free home sewing class for
low-income refugee/ immigrant women. Under the inspiration and
organization of Sister Marie Lee this small non-profit grew and evolved
to meet, and help fashion, the changing fabric of our society. Today,
under the sound leadership of CAPI, Project Regina, and its supporting
enterprise of Regina Designs, moves forward; still working to connect
the talents and aspirations of dedicated people with the skills and
opportunities they need to secure the bright futures they seek. We have been very happy with
the quality products sewn and efficiency of the staff at Project Regina.
Shakopee Women's Correctional Facility:
The women at Shakopee sew
MoonLight Pillows through MINNCOR
Products and are selected for their diligence, attention to detail
and quality work. They are put on a two week trial and if they provide
the quality work required, they can work on the MoonLight Pillow
project. Lynette, their manager tells me that their heart is in the
right place and they are very proud of their work. We at MoonLight
Pillows are grateful to have such high quality workmanship from the
women at the Woman's Correctional Facility in Shakopee.
